The Indianapolis Masonic Temple Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Randy Spaulding as Building Superintendent of Indiana Freemasons’ Hall effective November 12, 2010. Randy hails from Anderson, Indiana and is a graduate of Madison Heights High School. He attended Purdue University where he studied nuclear and mechanical engineering and management. Randy is an eight-year veteran of the United States Navy and served aboard an aircraft carrier as a Petty Officer 1st Class. Randy completed numerous technical schools while serving in the Navy. After being discharged from the Navy, he spent two years in the Army National Guard and ultimately enlisted in the United States Army, where he completed Officer Candidate School and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant.
Randy has previously owned his own home-building business in the Washington, D.C. area. He has spent the last several years in the retail business with Lowe’s Home Improvement, where he served as manager of five different departments, and Bed Bath and Beyond, where he worked in management in store operations and receiving. Randy has extensive experience working with steam boilers as well as in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
Randy has been married to Mary Beth for seventeen years and they are the parents of six children. They reside in Fishers. He is a Fellow Craft in Logan Lodge #575 and is anxiously looking forward to being raised to a Master Mason on November 30.
